The numbers 4 and 21 have been founder Jason Herrick's favorite numbers since he was a young boy.
When founder Jason Herrick drew the first 421 logo he wrote out FOUR TWO ONE underneath and then phonetically sounded it out to say FORTUNE.
The company was conceived in the early spring of 2005 and on April 21st 2005 founder Jason Herrick rushed home from class to make his first Fortune 421 t-shirt so that the anniversary would always take place on 4/21 each year.
The companies corporate offices are in San Diego. But we also have representatives in Miami, creating an identity of coastal living with an urban lifestyle, as well as Las Vegas which ties together our enthusiasm for the nightlife in all three markets.
