This Halloween season San Diego will again be a destination city for party goers around the country and we've got just the right experience in store for you on the weekend prior to the frightful night. This year Fortune 421 will be taking over the locals favorite watering hole Quality Social for not one, but two nights to bring you the Haunted House of Fortune! That's right, both Friday night and Saturday night Fortune 421 in association with The Grand Artique will recreate the haunted 19th Century Mansion, Thornbush Manor. This cursed home was plagued with strange, mysterious and frightening happenings that took the lives of the Thornbush family, who still haunt the estate to this day. The men and women of The Grand Artique will reenact this painful story for your Halloween pleasure! 

We are starting off the two-night event on Friday with one of our all time favorite house DJs, Mr. Las Vegas himself, DJ Scotty Boy! Scotty Boy has been Voted one of the Top 10 DJ's in America the past 3 years by DJ Times Magazine and ranked in the Top 100 DJ's in the world on TheDJlist.com. A resident at Marquee Las Vegas, Scotty Boy is one of the most energetic DJs you will ever see perform live. Warming up the decks for him will be Fortune's DJ J-Sin and opener Kid Wonder. Also local celebrity artsist Cory Schnitzer will be painting frightful Halloween themed art live before your very eyes!

Performing the second night of our two-night event on Saturday will be two of Hollywood's rising stars. Andy D'Arrigo and Travis Emmons are becoming house hold names in the EDM scene with residents at top venues in both Los Angeles and Las Vegas. These two artists separately will have any crowd on there tows and dancing the night away but together they take it to a whole nether level. Opening up the night will be San Diego's very own Junior the Disco Punk. We'll also have live art from Jack Sticker who will be painting spooky Halloween themed art live before your very eyes!

The Scene Industry Battles is back and so is Fortune's DJ Contest! The Monday night promotion from TK Productions is back to Stingaree Guest House on Monday nights for the winter season and this year Fortune 421 is going to be on board to help make it bigger and better! We are kicking things off with our 3rd Annual DJ Contest that will take place every Monday in October and November at the beginning of the night! 

Our opening party is on Monday October 8th and we'll be starting off with the first qualifier round of the DJ Contest. Up and coming San Diego DJs Oscar Wylde and JLouis will be facing off in the DJ contest and only one will move on! Afterwards DJ Brett Bodley will take the stage to rock the house! Our first official Fortune Music Record Release Party is finally here!! Analog will be home to our new monthly event series where we will feature Nationally recognized artists that we are working with on our record label. Fortune Music was born from a vision of releasing original house music tracks from emerging producers with remixes from veteran producers. Over the past 6 months we have been working hard to reignite that fire and stay on coarse with one new release a month. For the October release we have one of Electronic Music's rising producers Ron Reeser performing for us! Wonderland Fridays presents San Francisco duo CONTACT!

In the midst of our summer Fridays at IVY, we thought why not bring down some of our favorite DJ's to join us for a San Francisco take over!! Wonderland Fridays promises a night of fantasy as Comic Con invades San Diego!

This Friday we bring you our very own G-roy and Theron to rock the San Diego Comic Con crowds. Both G-roy and Theron have been San Diego DJ mainstays for the better part of a decade. While playing a weekly party at Confidential (now Lincoln Room) concieved by Jason Herrick and Chris Strickland, G-roy and Theron began to offer sets of the latest house and electro, in 2006. This lead to many other residencies in San Diego and Las Vegas, along with regular appearances in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago. San Diego, CA. - Fortune Industries is excited to announce its second annual DJ contest taking place at Side Bar Nightclub. Fortune Industries has been producing a weekly event every Thursday night for the last year and half titled “House of Fortune featuring The Fam Artists.” The DJ contest will take place at the beginning of each Thursday night during the months of November and December until they have crowned a winner the week before Thanksgiving.

Fortune Industries has had a long standing relationship with Side Bar since first launching the company with an event held there in 2005. Since then, Fortune Industries has grown into a nationally recognized clothing line, record label and events production company. After Side Bar’s recent expansion and remodel, it was a natural fit for these two beloved companies to join forces to produce a weekly event of house music in the downtown San Diego area.

The night has been built around the launch of The FAM Artists. The FAM is a collective group of house music DJs that are supported and marketed by Fortune Industries. In an effort to foster talented artists in the San Diego area, the idea of a competition was formed to create an exciting platform for new emerging DJs to gain exposure and have the opportunity to break through. These artists will get a chance to see what it really takes to make it in the nightlife industry as a full time DJ, and in the process, The FAM may even find a shining star to join the team like last years winner Kyle Flesch.

The competition will allow for eight emerging artists to perform in front of a live audience at Side Bar and be judged based on crowd response, track selection, overall DJ skills, and the amount of guests brought to the venue. Each week two artists will have two 30-minute sets to try and out shine each other and advance to the next round. The qualifying rounds will take place during weeks one thru four, the semi-finals on weeks five and six, and the finals will take place on week seven, at which point a winner will be crowned!

San Diego, CA. - Fortune Industries is excited to announce its first ever DJ contest taking place at Side Bar Nightclub. Fortune Industries has been producing a weekly event every Thursday night this summer titled “House of Fortune featuring The Fam Artists.” The DJ contest will take place at the beginning of each Thursday night during the months of October and November until they have crowned a winner the week before Thanksgiving.

Fortune Industries has had a long standing relationship with Side Bar since first launching the company with an event held there in 2005. Since then, Fortune Industries has grown into a nationally recognized clothing line, record label and events production company. After Side Bar’s recent expansion and remodel, it was a natural fit for these two beloved companies to join forces to produce a weekly event of house music in the downtown San Diego area.

The night has been built around the launch of The FAM Artists. The FAM is a collective group of house music DJs that are supported and marketed by Fortune Industries. In an effort to foster talented artists in the San Diego area, the idea of a competition was formed to create an exciting platform for new emerging DJs to gain exposure and have the opportunity to break through. These artists will get a chance to see what it really takes to make it in the nightlife industry as a full time DJ, and in the process, The FAM may even find a shining star to join the team!

The competition will allow for eight emerging artists to perform in front of a live audience at Side Bar and be judged based on crowd response, track selection, overall DJ skills, and the amount of guests brought to the venue. Each week two artists will have two 30-minute sets to try and out shine each other and advance to the next round. The qualifying rounds will take place during weeks one thru four, the semi-finals on weeks five and six, and the finals will take place on week seven, at which point a winner will be crowned!
