On May 4th, 2014, thousands of runners around the world will race together to find a cure for spinal cord injuries. This event is the first of it’s kind, where athletes and amateurs will compete against each other across five different continents, with one winner at the end. 100% of the race proceeds go directly to funding spinal cord research. Watch the video to learn more about the first ever Wings for Life World Run.
In this video Wings for Life World Run ambassador Brooke Thabit tells us exactly why spinal cord injury research is so vital and she’s joined by pro surfer Jamie O’Brien, who has become good friends with Brooke and lends his support for this amazing event.
