GIVE BACK

Giving back to those less fortunate was a part of founder Jason Herrick's vision for the company from the very beginning. After his mother endured over 10 years of homelessness she joined him in San Diego where together they started hand making Fortune 421 t-shirts from his small apartment in Pacific Beach. This little project together had given her a new purpose in life as well as sparked his dream to build an apparel company.

Soon after the first shirts where created Herrick had the thought for his company to give back to homeless teens as he wanted to lend support to local youth that found themselves in a similar situation as his mother. Searching online he found StandUp for Kids, a homeless outreach center based out of San Diego, and started donating on behalf of the company by producing annual clothing drives and fundraising events.

As time went on some of the Fortune Family found themselves heading south of the border to Baja Mexico to get away from the daily grind. On one of the trips they had decided to gather donations for an orphanage they had heard about. This quickly turned into seeing a much bigger need for the kids and Fortune 421 began putting together fundraising campaigns in partnership with LMH Promotions to provide school supplies and help rebuild a boys dormitory at the Door of Faith OrphanageWe'd like to thank the late Lindsay Hawley (LMH Promotions) for all of her support for our philanthropy and will continue giving in her honor!

Moving forward with our efforts the company will be donating 10% of our apparel profits back to these two great organizations we've built relationships with. We will let our customers choose if they would like their purchases to help homeless teens in San Diego or underprivileged kids in Baja Mexico. We're excited that we have the opportunity to keep making a difference through our Give Back program as we grow the company into the next chapter and appreciate your support along the way!
